Walk & Talk: Cooper Mountain Nature Park 🌲🥾

Spend a Saturday morning outside with WIS PDX at Cooper Mountain Nature Park! Join us for an easy walk through rolling prairie and forested trails, with beautiful views and plenty of time to chat and connect.

Whether you’re looking to meet new people, catch up with familiar faces, explore somewhere new, or simply enjoy a morning outside, our Walk & Talks are a relaxed way to connect with other women and gender-diverse folks in STEM.

Come solo, bring a friend, or bring the whole crew. All are welcome! 💚

📍 Nature House at Cooper Mountain Nature Park (18892 SW Kemmer Rd #5682, Beaverton, OR 97007)
🥾 Distance: Approximately 1–1.25 miles
🌿 Difficulty: Easy to easy-moderate, with some gentle elevation changes

The Route: We’ll start at the Nature House and explore the upper portion of the park, following a relaxed loop through Cooper Mountain’s prairie and forest habitat.

What to Bring: Comfortable walking shoes, a water bottle, and weather-appropriate layers. Please leave pets at home, as Cooper Mountain Nature Park does not allow pets.

Running a few minutes late? No worries! We’ll hang out at the Nature House until 10:15 AM before starting our walk.
